1. Are A-Sha Hakka Chili Noodles vegan?
Hakka Chili is vegan by American standards. In Asian cultures, onion and garlic are considered to be non-vegetarian because of religious beliefs. Hakka noodle with chili sauce contains no dairy or animal bi-products.
2. Are Mandarin Onion, Hakka Spicy BBQ, and Knife-cut Hakka Sesame Oil Scallion vegan?
Hakka Sesame Oil Scallion and Mandarin Onion are not currently vegan. We are currently working on making these sauces vegan friendly. Our vegan Sesame Oil Scallion and Onion sauce will be released in mid-2021.
Hakka Spicy BBQ is not vegan, because it contains shellfish. However, please be rest assured that our production facility and equipment is extensively cleaned and sanitized while changing over different sauces during production. Although, if you have severe allergies, we recommend you avoid these products.
3. Are A-Sha noodles non-GMO?
Currently, our products are in the process of obtaining non-GMO certification, but the flour used to make the noodles is non-GMO flour. There are currently 6 products that are under review for Non-GMO certification through the Non-GMO Project.
4. How do I cook the noodles properly?
The recommended cooking times vary between the noodle types. Please follow the instructions on the back of the packaging for recommend cooking times based on the noodle type. Not cooking the noodles to at least the recommended cooking time typically yields a slimy, doughy consistency of under-cooked noodle similar to when a pasta is not cooked all the way through. The cooking time varies per noodle; Tainan 2 mins, Mandarin 4 mins, Hakka 5 mins, Knife cut 5-6 mins.
5. Can I cook the noodles in the microwave?
Yes, A-Sha Noodles can be cooked in the microwave. Please ensure that a microwave safe bowl is used and is large enough to hold the noodle block. The noodle block should be submerged in an adequate amount of water (fully covering the noodle block in the bowl). Do not cover the microwave safe bowl in order to avoid boil over. Microwave cooking times vary for each noodle type; Tainan 3 mins, Mandarin 4 mins, Hakka 5 mins, and Guanmiao is not suggested to cook in the microwave due to the thickness of the noodle.

7. Where can I get A-Sha noodles in Canada?
All Asian markets throughout Canada, Safeway, Amazon Prime, Price Smart Foods, and Costco Canada Club Stores.
8. Which noodle is the best type to make stir fry or low mein?
We recommend using Mandarin medium width noodle and Hakka wide size noodle.
9.Is the production facility that produces A-Sha sauce used to produce products that contain meat or seafood?
Yes, our Taiwanese Spicy BBQ sauce contains shellfish. However, please be rest assured that our production facility and equipment is extensively cleaned and sanitized while changing over different sauces during production according to SQF food safety standards which is a globally recognized manufacturing standard. Although, if you have severe allergies, we recommend you avoid these products.
10.Do the sauce or noodles contain any tree-nuts?
The majority of our noodle sauces do not contain tree-nuts. However, we are currently offering our Gourmet Spicy Sichuan Pepper Noodles that do include peanuts. Please be rest assured that our production facility and equipment is extensively cleaned and sanitized while changing over different sauces during production according to SQF food safety standards which is a globally recognized manufacturing standard. Although, if you have severe allergies, we recommend you avoid these products.
11. Where do I find GuanMiao noodles (Knife Cut noodle)?
Our GuanMiao noodles can be found on our A-Sha website at ashadrynoodle.com, Amazon, Yamibuy.com, Cost Plus world market, and select Harmons locations starting in February 2021.
12. Where do I find Gourmet noodles and the YongKang gift box?
We are currently offering our seasonal gourmet noodles and our Yongkang gift box! You can find them on our website at ashadrynoodle.com and Yamibuy.com.
13. Where do I find seaweed snacks and the Honey Butter Nuts collection?
Our seaweed snacks and Honey butter Nuts collection can be found on our A-Sha website at ashadrynoodle.com, Amazon, Yamibuy.com, Safeway, Sayweee!, select Walmart stores, and H-mart.
14. When will your website be re-stocked?
We are trying our best to restock as soon as possible. In the meantime, our products may be in stock on Amazon or Yamibuy.com.
15. What kind of products do you sell?
We are currently selling all classic noodles, GuanMiao noodles, Gourmet noodles, special noodle gift boxes, Seaweed snacks and Honey butter and Wasabi nuts, along with various other snacks. Please refer to ashadrynoodle.com for more information.
16. Do you still sell Rainbow noodles?
We are no longer selling Rainbow Noodles. Although, we have plenty of other delicious noodles available on ashadrynoodle.com.
17. Are any A-Sha noodles vegan?
The majority of our A-Sha noodles are vegan friendly. The three flavors that are not currently vegan are Hakka Sesame Oil Scallion, Mandarin Onion, and Spicy BBQ. We are currently working on making the scallion and onion sauce vegan friendly and it will be released in mid 2021.

18. Do you offer lower shipping costs?
Shipping costs are unfortunately determined by the carrier and are higher during this time due to the demand. We apologize about any inconveniences. However, we do have a running promotion of $5 flat rate shipping for all orders over $75. **Not including Alaska, Hawaii and PO box.
19. Are A-Sha noodles made using unbleached or bleached flour?
Our A-Sha noodles are made using unbleached flour.
20. How much sodium is in your products?
The sodium content varies with each flavor. Typically, our products contain around 1150mg-1550mg. The number can seem a bit staggering at first glance, but please rest assured that most of the sodium comes from the soy sauce in the sauce packets (an inherently salty ingredient). For a lower-sodium twist, we recommend halving your sauce packet or creating your own sauce or broth to have with our noodles instead!
21. Do your noodles have gluten in them?
Currently, our noodles do contain gluten due to the wholesome wheat flour used to make our noodles. Email us and let us know what kind of gluten-free noodles you’d prefer, and we can make sure to pass it along to our product development team!
22. Do you have any information on allergens and shared equipment?
In terms of shellfish allergies, the only product we offer that contains shellfish is our Spicy BBQ flavor. In regard to tree-nut allergies, the majority of A-Sha noodles do not contain tree-nuts and only contain wheat, soy, and sesame. However, we are currently offering our Gourmet Spicy Sichuan Pepper Noodles that do include peanuts. 23. Do any of your sauces contain maltodextrin?
The majority of our A-Sha sauces do not contain maltodextrin. However, the three sauces that do contain maltodextrin include Chili (Mala) sauce, Extra Spicy Sauce with Ghost Pepper, and the Spicy Fennel sauce.
How do I sign in to this site?
To sign in to your customer account, click Log In on the menu bar and enter your e-mail address and password. If you do not have an account, please click Create Account on the Log In page.
How do I sign out of this site?
To sign out of your customer account, go to Account on the menu bar and click Log Out on the menu bar and you will return to the home page. If Log Out does not appear on the menu bar, then you are not currently signed in to the site.
What if I forgot my password?
If you have forgotten your password, click Log In on the menu bar. Click on the Forgot your password? link. On the Reset Your Password page, enter your e-mail address, and then click Submit. We will send your password to the e-mail address we have on file for your account.
How do I become a registered user for this site?
To become a registered member of this site, click Log In on the menu bar and click on Create Account and enter information to create an account. Then click Create. There is no cost to become a registered member. Please note: For security purposes, your password must be a minimum 5 characters long. Special characters are allowed. Passwords are case sensitive.
How do I add an item to my shopping cart?
To add an item to your shopping cart, on the Product page enter the quantity you wish to purchase in the quantity field and then click Add to Cart.
How do I remove an item from my shopping cart?
To remove a single item from your shopping cart, change the QTY for that item to 0.
Who can I contact if I have questions?

What are the payment methods available?
You may purchase merchandise from this Web site by using any one of the payment options listed in the Payment Method page at checkout. A-Sha Dry Noodle reserves the right to change its payment procedures at any time without prior notice to you.
Is my credit card information secure through this site?
YES! Your credit card information is protected with a secure SSL Certificate that encrypts all of your transactions through our site with industry-standard secure sockets layer (SSL) technology. If the online store accepts credit cards, rest assured that both your credit card information and personal information are protected.
Can I update my account contact information?
To update your contact information you must first Log In. Click Log In on the menu bar to access your account information. Select View Addresses under Account Details to view, delete, or make edits to the account. Make your changes and then click Update Address.
Can I change my e-mail address and password?
To update your e-mail address and password you must first Log In. Click Log In on the menu bar to access your account information and then select Change E-mail Address and Password from the My Account menu. You may update your e-mail address, first and last name, and change your password, then click Save. Please note: For security purposes, your password must consist of 7-32 characters and must include at least one letter and one number. Passwords are case sensitive.
Can I view my previous orders placed on this site?
To view your order history you must first click Log In on the menu bar to access your account information. A summary of your past order history will appear on the main account page. Select the order number for the order you wish to view.
Can I provide special instructions with my order?
You can include special instructions for orders in your shopping cart. Type your special instructions or comments in the Special Instructions for Seller text box. The store owner will receive these instructions along with the order. Click Check Out to continue with the checkout process.
What is the return policy?
In general, A-Sha Dry Noodle does not provide a return policy. Products are free of damage and breakage when your order is shipped from our warehouses. Although A-Sha Dry Noodle packages all products very carefully, damages may occur in transit or products may not reach their final destination. Please contact us immediately if you receive a damaged product, or if you have not received your order. Make sure to save all contents of packaging so that we may investigate your shipping order. Allow up to two business weeks to complete the investigation and for a decision to be rendered. Shipping charges on the original order will be refunded or a credit given only if the merchandise is damaged in transit or was shipped in error on a transaction by transaction basis.
