Asian American Pacific Islander Month
A-Sha Foods is supporting AAPI month through donations, events, and collaborations with other Asian-owned businesses.
A-Sha Noodles originated in Tainan, Taiwan
We began making noodles in a factory in Tainan, Taiwan in 1977, using a patented 100-year-old recipe and time honored 18-hour noodle drying technique. Starting with finely sifted wheat flour, combined with salt and water, we created a perfectly chewy, air-dried noodle that epitomizes the authentic taste of traditional Taiwanese cuisine. Even though we’ve expanded beyond our place of origin, we still strive to share the delicious and authentic tastes of Taiwan with the world.
A-Sha's AAPI Month 2022
A-Sha partnered with the City of Los Angeles Mayor's office and its newly formed AAPI-LA Committee as the corporate sponsor to help give voice to the concerns of the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community in L.A. and to celebrate AAPI heritage.
Throughout the entire month of May, we drove around LA in an A-Sha x AAPI-LA Food Truck attending various events to serve our signature, air-dried, never-fried Taiwanese noodles!
