Last weekend, we attended the 2024 Aspen Food & Wine Classic! We had a blast serving everyone and connecting with Food & Wine attendees about the need for high-quality, easy-to-prepare at-home noodles. The atmosphere was electric, with food enthusiasts and connoisseurs mingling amidst the scenic backdrop of the Rockies. Our booth quickly became a hotspot, as guests eagerly sampled our offerings, savoring each bite and asking questions about our ingredients and culinary techniques.
We served four amazing dishes that showcased the diversity and quality of our authentic Taiwanese noodles, including a special debut of our new and upcoming A-Sha Chili Crisp Drizzle, set to launch this fall. The Grand Tastings were a hit, with many attendees raving about our unique flavors and the creativity in our recipes. We were so happy to meet so many A-Sha Noodle fans in person and to get to engage over a bowl of ramen. Engaging with our A-Sha Noodle supporters and hearing their stories about how they like to cook A-Sha at home and what proteins and veggies they like adding reaffirms our dedication to always making premium, innovative products with sustainable ingredients that allow people to enjoy restaurant quality meals at home. We left the event with new friends, valuable feedback, and a continued passion for our craft, eagerly anticipating our return next year. Check out some of our favorite moments below.
First up, our four mouth-watering dishes we made to bring that wow-factor to Aspen!
We kicked off the first Grand Tasting of the weekend with A-Sha Spicy Dan Dan Noodles! A-Sha Knife Cut Noodles are perfectly coated in a Spicy Dan Dan Sauce and finished with our new, upcoming A-Sha Chili Crisp Drizzle and fresh scallions.
Next up, Grand Tasting 2 featured our A-Sha Truffle Infused Noodles which consisted of A-Sha Meteor Noodles in a Spicy Dan Dan Sauce with truffle tapenade, truffle oil, and freshly shaved truffle.
Kicking off the Saturday morning Grand Tasting was our A-Sha Miso Cream Noodles with Caviar! This unique dish featured our Meteor Noodles coated in a delicious, creamy miso sauce topped with a truffle potato chip and caviar.
To end Saturday night with a fourth Grand Tasting, we decided to serve up A-Sha Beef Lemongrass Noodle Soup to accompany the cold, crisp Aspen weather. This rich noodle soup featured our Meteor Noodles in a beef lemongrass consommé with tender soy & honey braised short rib.
One of the highlights of the weekend was meeting the legendary, Chef Andrew Zimmern. We were thrilled to meet Chef Zimmern at Aspen Food & Wine, where he tasted our A-Sha Meteor Noodles in a creamy miso sauce, topped with a truffle potato chip and caviar. We have long admired his work and his culinary journey and it's an honor to serve him a bite of A-Sha.
We loved connecting with everyone at the 41st Annual Food & Wine Classic through our delicious dishes and engaging conversations. Sharing our passion for the culinary arts and engaging in person with fellow foodies helped make our first Aspen Food & Wine Classic such a joy. We can’t wait for next year!
